Beschreibung

• Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering counterparts to execute product and business strategy and build products and features. • Contribute to the full development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch. • Review code and design documents and provide feedback on product specifications and mocks. • Lead a team of engineers. • Set and define standards to improve developer workflows and recommend best practices. • Coach and mentor engineers to support their professional development. • Drive technical and product strategy, operations, architecture, and execution for Reddit’s Safety and Moderation organization. • Continuously improve technical and non-technical abilities.

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5–8 years of software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Go, Python, Rust, or Ruby. • Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, and Thrift or gRPC basics. • Ability to design and implement maintainable APIs. • BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience. • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule. • Self-directed, innovative, action-oriented approach in fast-paced environments. • Experience partnering effectively with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment. • Ability to discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
