Beschreibung

• Drive related technical and product strategy, operations, architecture, and execution for Reddit’s Comments page • Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering counterparts • Execute product and business strategy • Build novel products and features for Reddit users • Contribute to technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch • Review code and design documents • Give feedback on product specifications and mocks • Contribute to team strategy and future planning • Improve developer workflows and recommend best practices • Balance development speed with product quality • Continuously improve technical and non-technical abilities

🎯 Anforderungen

• BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience • Minimum of 3+ years of post-internship, full-time, hands-on, professional software development experience in large-scale distributed systems • 3+ years of software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages: Go, Python, Rust, Ruby • Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift or gRPC basics • Ability to design and implement maintainable APIs • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule • Excellent communication skills • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully remote environment • Ability to discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences
