Beschreibung

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and applications using PHP/Laravel and Python • Drive technical architecture and roadmap for the assigned area, balancing speed with long-term maintainability • Contribute to containerization and deployment efforts using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm • Partner with product managers to scope work, clarify requirements, and translate business goals into technical plans • Review code, set engineering standards, and mentor other engineers • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including performance and reliability concerns • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discovery alongside product and design • Identify technical debt and drive initiatives to address it without derailing feature delivery

🎯 Anforderungen

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including time in a senior or lead capacity • Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel in production environments • Working proficiency in Python for scripting, tooling, or service development • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration; familiarity with Helm for deployment management • Proven history of collaborating closely with product teams and comfortable in requirements discussions, not just implementation • Solid understanding of relational databases, API design, and system architecture • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment • Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and/or infrastructure-as-code • Experience working in a fast-paced startup or small-team environment • Eligible to work in the United States without employment sponsorship for work and/or resident visa • Sponsorship is not provided for this position
