Beschreibung

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries and document business transactions • Prepare monthly and quarterly operational performance reports • Assist the Area Controller with internal controls, company policy compliance, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and statutory requirements • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and statistical data and analyze financial statements according to GAAP and company policy • Assist with management of accounting personnel • Provide direction to accounting functional areas including invoice processing, billing, cash receipts, work order processing, credit analysis, receivable collections, month-end close, journal entries, statistical data, and payroll • Support annual budgeting and interim forecasting processes with analytical review • Support accounting for capital expenditures, transfers, and retirements • Assist with internal audits, external audits, and peer reviews • Respond to information requests from corporate departments, regional management, and area financial management • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• Accounting experience • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Intermediate-level MS Excel skills • Initiative to research and follow up on non-standard situations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures • Effective and professional interpersonal communication across organizational levels and with external customers and vendors • Strong analytical skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines • Ability to complete projects and assignments with minimal supervision • Strong organizational skills • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment • Ability to work effectively, cooperatively, and efficiently within a team environment • Experience with general ledger software and other industry-standard programs • Experience with Oracle accounting software and other industry-standard programs
