Beschreibung

• Develop, maintain, and manage centralized ECAD libraries • Ensure compliance with industry standards and Collins-specific design requirements • Oversee creation, validation, and release of electronic component symbols, footprints, and 3D models • Drive standardization of library components and processes across business units • Establish and enforce ECAD library management best practices • Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Digital Technology, and Manufacturing teams • Implement automation and advanced tools to improve library creation, validation, and maintenance • Lead process optimization initiatives to enhance ECAD library efficiency and quality • Ensure library components meet regulatory, industry, and RTX-specific design standards • Maintain detailed process and update documentation for traceability and usability • Develop and deliver training materials for engineers and designers • Resolve ECAD library-related issues and provide on-demand engineering support • Track and report ECAD library usage, accuracy, and process improvements • Use metrics to evaluate library initiatives and identify enhancement opportunities • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of Librarians • Guide team professional development and provide constructive feedback • Foster collaboration, teamwork, innovation, career growth, and job satisfaction

🎯 Anforderungen

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience • Minimum 8 years of experience in ECAD library management, electronic design, or related fields within aerospace, defense, or similar industries • Proficiency in ECAD tools such as Mentor Graphics (Xpedition), Cadence, Altium, or similar • Strong understanding of electronic components and PCB design principles • Knowledge of heritage Rockwell Collins and industry standards, including IPC standards • Experience with library management software and PLM systems • U.S. citizenship required • Familiarity with automation tools for library management and component creation preferred • Experience integrating ECAD libraries into simulation and analysis workflows preferred • Knowledge of aerospace and defense electronic design standards and requirements preferred • Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills preferred • Communication and leadership abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams, preferred
