Beschreibung

• Join a multi-disciplined design team working remotely with the Nashville, TN office • Manage fire protection scopes on hyperscale data center, mission critical, federal, and industrial projects • Implement state-of-the-art fire protection designs for projects located around the country • Directly manage fire protection scopes and coordinate with design staff on technical deliverables • Serve as engineer of record on assigned projects • Assist with engineering calculations and analysis using available software • Aid in producing 3D fire protection designs using Autodesk Revit • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and fire protection design staff • Support technical leadership and mentorship of incoming graduate-level engineering staff

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5–10 years of experience in design, consulting, or construction • Bachelor’s degree in fire protection engineering, engineering technology, or a similar ABET-accredited program • Registered Professional Engineering (FPE) license is required • Professional Engineer certification/license required • Experience with fire protection design principles for building construction • Knowledge of applicable NFPA, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFCs), and building codes/standards, including IBC and SBC • Proficiency with fire protection design • Proficiency with Autodesk Revit • Understanding of BIM workflows for fire protection engineering and design • Ability to provide technical guidance to junior engineers and design staff • Proficient written and oral communication skills • Excellent planning and organizational skills • Ability to travel less than 20%
