Beschreibung

• Lead and support small and large controls projects, focusing on technical execution and project management • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines to complete projects • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve controls engineering issues • Develop digital systems designs, including PLC, DCS, HSI, and networked computer systems • Prepare control system functional and implementation requirements and procurement specifications for nuclear plant control systems • Interface with clients to ensure project execution and client satisfaction • Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and studies • Manage resources/resource loading and develop task completion estimates and budgets • Support proposal development • Prepare and review diagrams and drawings for new and upgraded controls solutions • Evaluate vendor bids from a technical perspective • Interface with vendors, review documents, verify equipment compliance, and witness FAT performance on behalf of clients • Support project implementation at client facilities

🎯 Anforderungen

• BS degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program • 10 or more years of experience in I&C Design Engineering • At least 5 years of experience at a nuclear facility • PE license is preferred • Ability to clearly communicate in speech and writing • Technical knowledge of available equipment and proven pre-engineered systems for systems design • Experience serving as the firm's client liaison in a support or lead engineering role • Experience reviewing design documentation • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; Sargent & Lundy does not sponsor work authorization for this position
