Beschreibung

• Guide a team of structural engineers • Interface with clients and engineers from other disciplines • Manage a variety of structural engineering projects for various clients • Apply knowledge of materials, structural analysis, structural steel design, and reinforced concrete design • Direct the preparation and review of design calculations, specifications, reports, and other deliverables • Support designers with drawing development • Supervise and mentor others in developing quality engineering deliverables • Perform structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, and foundations using computer tools • Travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews • Travel to plant sites for construction coordination and field verification of designs • Lead engineering problem-solving and adoption of automation and AI tools to improve workflows and reduce rework • Oversee engineers programming or scripting to automate engineering tasks and review automated outputs

🎯 Anforderungen

• BSCE with emphasis in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program • Ten or more years of experience working as a member of a project team in the design and analysis of industrial, heavy commercial, or nuclear facility structures • Proficiency with structural analysis software such as STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS • Proficiency with design codes and standards such as ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Must already have work authorization in the U.S.; the company does not sponsor employees for U.S. work authorization for this position • Willingness or ability to lead others using modern tools, automation, and AI to improve workflows, reduce rework, and deliver cost-effective designs • Valued but not required: MSCE degree • Valued but not required: On-site construction support experience • Valued but not required: PE or SE license • Additional learning in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or related fields is valued but not required
