Beschreibung

• Design and manage an agency-wide quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) program • Lead preparation and ongoing compliance efforts for accreditation bodies such as CARF • Analyze performance data trends and propose quality improvement initiatives • Develop and update agency policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and best practices • Review incident reports and adverse events, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions • Manage KPI tracking systems and dashboards, including documentation timeliness, client satisfaction, discharge planning, and audit findings • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual quality reports for leadership and the Board of Directors • Contribute to strategic planning and organizational development as a leadership team member • Liaise with external stakeholders during audits, accreditation surveys, and funding reviews • Lead or participate in compliance, safety, utilization review, and service delivery committees • Complete annual and semi-annual evaluations of supervisees • Ensure compliance with documentation timelines and corrective action plans • Oversee recruitment, hiring, training, and retention of quality assurance staff • Supervise and evaluate quality assurance staff • Review implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems • Document internal audits and quality assurance activities • Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions • Prepare reports communicating quality activity outcomes • Ensure meeting minutes are completed and filed • Facilitate quality assurance training meetings and trainings • Lead agency audits for departments • Coordinate coverage with Business Continuity Plan individuals and update BCP information during leave periods • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in health administration, Public Health, Behavioral Health, or related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare quality assurance, compliance, or performance improvement • Strong knowledge of state-specific regulations (e.g., COMAR), Medicaid rules, and accreditation standards (e.g., CARF, The Joint Commission) • Experience conducting audits, analyzing data, and leading quality improvement initiatives • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills • Proficient in EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
