Beschreibung

• Provide leadership and technical expertise within the engineering vertical • Build and lead one or more teams delivering software while adhering to and contributing to engineering best practices • Manage, coach, and develop engineers across mobile and backend platforms • Clarify technical requirements, negotiate priorities, and manage projects through daily scrum activities • Partner with product and design to create an ambitious, achievable roadmap for executives and stakeholders • Drive reliable team execution using objectives, data, KPIs, transparency, and continuous improvement • Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering workflows, including development tooling, documentation, testing support, code review augmentation, and developer enablement • Provide KPI, status, and metrics updates to executives and stakeholders • Recruit, assess, and onboard diverse engineering talent • Align stakeholders across Fanatics around actionable roadmaps • Participate in architecture discussions, operational reviews, development workflows, and engineering quality practices • Remain open to occasional travel to Fanatics offices and other locations

🎯 Anforderungen

• 3+ years of experience managing one or more engineering teams • 4+ years of experience building highly scalable and fault tolerant systems • Knowledge of a broad range of design approaches and ability to deconstruct architecture for development by different teams • Ability to scope projects with targeted dates • Ability to discern essential, triageable, or omittable features and negotiate with Product Management • Ability to communicate complex technical subjects to varied audiences • Familiarity with Agile software product delivery and SCRUM methodology • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Solid report writing skills and ability to gather, evaluate, and analyze relevant information • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, hyper-growth environment • Ability to work cross-functionally within an enterprise environment • Preferred: experience in a start-up environment • Preferred: strong mobile software engineering background • Preferred: experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and/or Compose Multiplatform • Preferred: passion for sports cards, collectibles, or live commerce
