Beschreibung

• Contribute to Smartsheet’s most critically visible initiatives into FY28 • Build scalable back-end services using Kotlin and Java • Solve distributed systems problems and work with AWS and Kubernetes • Lead code reviews and architectural discussions with software engineers and product managers • Serve as a force-multiplying team lead for important work • Mentor engineers on code quality and industry best practices • Partner with product management and other key business areas • Use AI tools across coding, testing, design, and troubleshooting, and coach others on effective AI use • Promote best practices beyond the immediate team

🎯 Anforderungen

• 7+ years software development experience building highly scalable, highly available applications • 7+ years of programming experience with full stack technologies such Java, Kotlin or TypeScript • 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) • 1+ year professional experience leveraging AI to improve personal productivity in service of building complex SaaS feature sets • Experience developing, documenting, and supporting REST APIs • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience • Critical thinking capabilities and ability to independently clarify vaguely defined tasks with stakeholders • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative spirit • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis
