Beschreibung

• Serve as the accessibility compliance and quality assurance lead • Conduct accessibility audits and compliance assessments • Perform manual and automated accessibility testing • Validate WCAG 2.1 AA compliance and readiness for WCAG 2.2 • Review websites for keyboard accessibility and screen-reader compatibility • Assess semantic HTML, ARIA implementation, and form accessibility • Validate color contrast and visual accessibility requirements • Identify accessibility defects and recommend remediation actions • Perform functional, regression, and usability testing • Develop QA test plans, scripts, and defect reports • Verify remediation activities and conduct compliance re-testing • Support accessibility-focused quality assurance processes • Provide accessibility guidance during development and redesign efforts

🎯 Anforderungen

• US Citizen / must be a US Citizen • 5+ years of accessibility testing and QA experience • Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA compliance assessments • Experience using Axe, WAVE, JAWS, NVDA, and Lighthouse • Experience conducting manual accessibility evaluations • Experience testing WordPress websites and web applications • Knowledge of Section 508 and public-sector accessibility requirements • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Quality Assurance, Accessibility Studies, or related field • Preferred certifications include IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC), IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS), ISTQB Certified Tester, and Section 508 Accessibility Training Certifications
