Beschreibung

• Service and fuel heavy equipment including scrapers, excavators, dozers, tractors, wheel loaders, water trucks, pick-ups, and support equipment • Check and fill fluid levels, service lubrication points, and perform routine preventive maintenance • Maintain daily service, repair, and maintenance records • Assist in maintaining inventory of service kits, lubricants, oils, and other supplies • Coordinate equipment service activities with production and maintenance team members • Perform preventive maintenance on fuel and lube trucks and construction equipment • Repair damaged auto-greasing system injection lines and troubleshoot greasing system problems • Follow verbal and written instructions and communicate with supervisors and fellow employees • Keep the work area clean and orderly, including weekly cleaning of fuel and lube trucks • Complete daily work assignments in a timely manner • Promote safety and production by ensuring compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations • Participate in morning safety meetings • Deploy spill kits and participate in cleanup of fuel or lubricant spills • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• High School or equivalent required • 1-3 years of technical field experience servicing heavy equipment and trucks • Valid Driver’s License with good driving record required to drive company vehicles • CDL Class A or B with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement required • Proficiency in spoken and written English is a mandatory requirement • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals • Ability to work early in the morning in the dark using truck-mounted and portable lights • Ability to type and operate an electronic tablet for the Fuel Management System scanning and logging system • Ability to perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on a Class 8 truck with air brakes • Ability to safely operate the Fuel & Lube service truck on dirt roads with grades up to 10% in dry, wet, or snow conditions • Ability to drive a manual transmission semi-truck • Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug test
