Beschreibung

• Define the product strategy and multi-year vision for the Enterprise Ontology Platform • Own the end-to-end product roadmap, balancing immediate business wins with long-term platform scalability • Translate ambiguous or conflicting business needs into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Manage the backlog using a data-driven approach and balance feature development, technical debt, and production support • Define and track platform success metrics to inform prioritization • Serve as the primary liaison between the Ontology Platform and Foundational Data Platform engineering leadership • Identify capability gaps and lead build-versus-leverage analyses • Articulate foundational platform requirements and drive prioritization across roadmaps • Track platform dependencies and proactively flag delivery risks • Ensure a flexible, extensible framework for business-owned ontology definitions • Shape configuration workflows and interaction models with the Engineering Lead • Design workflows for surfacing, triaging, and resolving data breaks • Partner with Data Governance and Compliance teams on data standards and regulatory alignment • Gather requirements from business stakeholders, facilitate alignment, and set delivery expectations • Communicate roadmap, trade-offs, and progress to business and senior stakeholders • Participate in technical design discussions as the product and business voice • Track business-team dependencies for ontology definitions, mappings, and rules or break criteria • Build business-dependency timelines into the product roadmap

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5-8 years of Product Management experience within data-intensive platforms such as MDM, Knowledge Graphs, Data Mesh, or Enterprise Data Warehousing • Deep understanding of data modeling concepts • Comfortable discussing graph databases (RDF, SPARQL, Property Graphs), APIs, and ETL/ELT patterns with engineers • Proven experience managing a platform-on-platform dependency with a separate infrastructure/foundational team • Ability to navigate complex, messy data environments and synthesize a clean, canonical structure from conflicting source definitions • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with both technical engineering leads and non-technical business executives • Experience in Financial Services or another highly regulated industry strongly preferred • Familiarity with ontology standards (OWL, RDF) or experience building a Knowledge Graph would be great • Experience with metadata management tools or data cataloging software would be great • Experience leading a team through the “0 to 1” phase of a product launch within a large corporate environment is a plus, not required
