Beschreibung

• Manage the development and production of statutory financial reports, including Annual Statements, Quarterly Statements, and Audited Financial Statements for all insurance subsidiaries • Manage a team completing monthly and quarterly close activities • Ensure regulatory compliance, quality, and internal accounting controls • Oversee internal financial management reports and board reporting materials • Communicate statutory financial results to senior management • Manage preparation and submission of filings required by state insurance regulators • Coordinate detailed financial and statistical information for rating agencies, state insurance examiners, and insurance-industry organizations • Prepare analyses, presentations, and recommendations regarding statutory data and results • Review statutory accounting research and emerging issues and propose or incorporate disclosure conclusions • Support executive summaries on complex statutory reporting issues for senior management • Manage, coach, and develop team members • Maintain oversight of a domestic remote team and third-party offshore business staff • Identify and execute opportunities to create efficiencies, scale the team, foster knowledge sharing, and optimize the operating model across a global workforce • Understand data requirements, leverage technology, and assist with implementing system solutions

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience • 8 years of combined experience in insurance industry statutory reporting, financial reporting, management reporting, and supervisory experience, or equivalent education and/or relevant experience • Supervisory experience leading a team and providing coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities • Experience with public auditing and regulatory agencies preferred • ERP experience with data extraction and report building preferred • Advanced Excel required • Power BI preferred • Ability to work PST hours as needed • CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred • Ability to maintain oversight of a domestic remote team and third-party offshore business staff • Must pass criminal background investigation and employment, education, and licensing verification • Must be bondable
