Beschreibung

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients according to organizational policies and professional nursing standards • Review medical clearance cases and ensure requests are completed within the required timeframe before surgery • Refer patients to specialists for additional labs, exams, x-rays, and clearance when necessary • Collaborate with providers and healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth and efficient inpatient or procedural workflows • Ensure evaluations follow clinical guidelines and safety regulations • Document patient medical histories, communications with external medical offices and clinics, and clearance-process steps • Input and retrieve data from electronic health systems • Collaborate with doctors, medical staff, patients, center staff, PEPs, Prosthodontists, and Oral Surgeons to obtain timely results and communicate clearance progress • Identify potential issues or risks that may affect medical-clearance turnaround time • Handle multiple patients and procedures efficiently within set deadlines • Perform functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and professional standards

🎯 Anforderungen

• At least 1 year of experience working as a medical clearance professional, pre-ops case manager, utilization manager, or case manager, preferably in a remote or hybrid environment • At least one active state RN license • Compact state licensure • Nursing diploma • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office or Google Office applications • Strong technical aptitude • Strong oral and written communication skills • Excellent analytical, planning, and process development skills • Preferred completion of an accredited Certified Professional Utilization Review (CPUR) program or Certified Case Manager (CCM) issued by the Commission for Case Manager Certification • Preferred minimum one-year licensed RN experience in PreOp/PACU, such as ICU or ED • Preferred bachelor's degree with a business concentration or an MBA
