Beschreibung

• Manage, select, train, resource, coach and conduct performance management for clinical operations staff • Use metrics and key performance indicators to manage performance • Lead or contribute to departmental performance-enhancement and company process-improvement initiatives • Collaborate with senior management and executive staff on strategic planning and business development • Act as escalation point for performance concerns and training needs • Collaborate with leadership on resourcing needs • Provide coaching, mentorship and work direction • Conduct performance appraisals and career discussions; facilitate career development • Interview, recruit and select staff • Manage induction and orientation programs for new employees • Maintain staff CVs, training records, position profiles and experience profiles • Ensure accurate and timely timesheets and expense reports • Support resource allocation and project/functional lead activities • Escalate issues that may affect project deliverables • Deliver training on WPDs, SOPs, local requirements and clinical operations • Identify training gaps and ensure requirements are met • Maintain ethical and regulatory standards • Alert management to quality issues and facilitate quality assurance audits • Review Activate, CTMS, Preclarus and Clarity systems to evaluate employee and project metrics, KPIs and project status • Evaluate staff work, including remote or on-site PAVs • Support risk-based monitoring and process improvement • Contribute to bids and procurement of new business when required • Interpret and administer policies, processes and procedures • Participate in and present at internal and external meetings • Resolve operational and scheduling issues

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification • 5+ years of comparable experience • 1+ year of leadership responsibility • Equivalency through a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience may be considered • Advanced mentoring, leadership and supervisory skills • Excellent clinical trials monitoring skills, remote and on-site • Understanding of, or ability to learn, SOPs, WPDs and relevant regulations, including ICH/GCP and FDA guidelines • Ability to evaluate medical research data • Strong organizational, negotiation and problem-solving skills • Strong attention to detail • Advanced written and oral communication skills • Good knowledge of English language and grammar • Computer proficiency for data entry, archival and retrieval • Ability to travel as needed • Team-building, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills • Knowledge of medical/therapeutic areas and medical terminology • Regular and consistent attendance • Ability to perform under stress and multitask
