Beschreibung

• Lead and manage efforts to promote safe and compliant practices within the Corporate Health & Safety Department • Provide construction safety expertise and risk recognition/reduction skills • Drive proactive safe work practices using prevention and mitigation techniques • Maintain current knowledge of industry safety trends and practices • Identify and implement company best practices and continuously improve safety practices • Manage the safety region to eliminate occupational injuries and illnesses • Assist with developing and implementing safety training programs, policies, and procedures • Compile, analyze, and interpret occupational illness and accident exposure data • Prepare incident reports and management, regulatory agency, and ad hoc reports • Perform comprehensive EHS facility and field audits • Create and close corrective action plans with operations • Serve as subject matter expert on corporate and governmental regulatory issues • Conduct field and facility safety meetings and training • Train and develop regional resources on construction safety • Investigate injuries and incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective action plans • Document injury and incident scenarios and causes in the company EHS information system • Communicate root and contributing causes to facilitate proactive injury and incident avoidance • Manage OSHA citations and investigations within the assigned region • Analyze metrics and monthly incidents to identify trends and align resources • Audit data collection and reporting practices for regulatory compliance

🎯 Anforderungen

• Candidates must reside in CA, OR, WA, or AZ, with a strong preference for candidates located in California • Maintain a primary residence in the assigned territory • At least 18 years of age • 5+ years’ experience • Experience with OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations and safety administration in a transportation, construction, distribution, general industry or warehousing environment • Proficient in OSHA & EPA Regulations and State and Federal laws • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint • Availability to travel up to 50% throughout a designated multi-state territory • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred • Certified Safety Professional (CSP), preferred • Associate Safety Professional (ASP), preferred • Construction Health Safety Technician (CHST), preferred • Safety-sensitive position
