Beschreibung

• Develop and execute a roadmap for the demand forecasting and planning module • Act as the voice of the customer and ensure the product solves real problems and drives business outcomes • Work with development and UI/UX teams to build the right product and craft internal and external launch positioning • Collaborate day-to-day with engineers, QA, and UX in a squad to plan, build, and ship product improvements • Surface planner exceptions and build visibility that creates trust in order plan recommendations • Translate supply planners' day-to-day work into clear requirements • Own and refine backlog priorities, balancing long-term vision with short-term iteration • Distinguish must-haves from nice-to-haves • Work with customers and internal stakeholders to understand issues and workflow nuances • Collaborate with UI/UX on intuitive, low-friction workflows • Support go-to-market readiness by demonstrating and positioning new functionality • Monitor post-launch adoption and measure improvements in accuracy, time savings, or decision quality • Use AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Copilot to accelerate repetitive tasks while applying human judgment • Critically evaluate AI output and determine when decisions require human input • Manage the backlog using high-level canvases, detailed stories, and requirements • Write concise user stories and acceptance criteria grounded in real use cases • Participate in agile planning, estimation, retrospectives, and standups • Partner with development and QA to prioritize, review, and accept squad work • Validate assumptions and gather customer feedback throughout the product lifecycle, including mockups and beta

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience in supply planning and inventory management • Strong understanding of forecasting, lead time, safety stock, BOMs, capacity, and replenishment logic • Experience using commercial planning software day-to-day, not just Excel • Strong technical aptitude and comfort learning how systems work and exploring data • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex ideas simply • Curiosity, problem-solving instinct, and empathy for the end user • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and make clear decisions in a fast-moving environment • Willingness and ability to work regular business hours in the Eastern time zone
