Beschreibung

• Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs • Design, build, and maintain microservices in a cloud native architecture • Operate and support an enterprise-scale production system • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues • Analyze user needs and develop robust software solutions aligned with business and mission goals • Analyze, design, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases within application ecosystems • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and mentoring of junior developers • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Security, Product, and Architecture teams • Migrate current-system functionality from mainframes to AWS GovCloud • Transition investigative search capabilities to Elasticsearch or similar technologies • Build microservices using OpenShift-based container platforms • Implement full-stack components and UI integration layers using modern JavaScript frameworks • Support event-driven architectures and high-throughput data processing systems • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule one week out of every four • Acknowledge on-call contacts within 15 minutes • Remain within reasonable access to a secure work laptop while on call • Begin assessing or troubleshooting requests within 60 minutes of notification

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of work experience OR Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience • Active Tier 3 Secret clearance or higher • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency for clearance eligibility • Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming, Java, and Spring Boot • Experience developing microservices, REST APIs, and cloud native applications • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm charts, and container orchestration in OpenShift or similar platforms • Experience designing, developing, and operating solutions in AWS or other cloud platforms • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and enterprise message brokers such as IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ • Experience with observability tooling, distributed tracing, structured logging, and metrics collection, including OpenTelemetry, Kibana, or ELK stack • Experience operating within GitOps practices using GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, ArgoCD, or similar tools • Experience working within Agile frameworks, including Scrum/SAFe ceremonies • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket • Ability to write clear technical documentation, including API documentation, architecture decisions, and implementation notes • Experience with artifact repository managers such as Artifactory or Nexus is beneficial • Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, or DynamoDB is increasingly valuable • Experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines is increasingly valuable • Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation is increasingly valuable • Knowledge of Linux administration, shell scripting, and environment automation is increasingly valuable • Experience with React, Next.js, or Angular is increasingly valuable • Knowledge of GraphQL, responsive UI development, and front-end integration patterns is increasingly valuable • Experience with Python, Go, Kotlin, Node.js, C++, C#, or Ruby is beneficial but not required • Experience with relational databases, NoSQL systems, distributed data systems, automated testing, Elasticsearch, and Maven is valuable • Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule one week out of every four
