Beschreibung

• Work Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m., with flexibility for occasional night and weekend shifts for special events • Maintain quality control, hygiene, and health and safety standards • Greet and assist customers, take orders, and operate the cash register • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and balance the cash drawer • Follow Bistro opening and closing procedures and set up equipment • Maintain a clean and orderly front of house, food service stations, trash areas, and work stations • Stock beverages, cups, condiments, utensils, salad bar, grab-and-go, pizza station, and other food stations • Check ingredient and paper-goods stock levels and assist with inventory maintenance • Prepare and expedite high-quality food according to recipes for all outlets • Perform duties across restaurants, catering rooms, loading dock, and exterior restaurant areas • Promote the mission of University of Arkansas-Pulaski Technical College • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions and recipes • One-year experience in institutional cooking or related area OR Certificate in Basic Food Preparation from a regionally accredited institution • Understanding and commitment to equal access and equal opportunity • Commitment to the mission of the comprehensive two-year college and its role in total community development • Professional verbal and written communication skills • Organized and detail oriented • Flexible and able to adapt to change • ServSafe certification preferred • Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment • Must submit a cover letter/letter of application, list of three professional references, and resume
