Beschreibung

• Operate assigned client accounts efficiently under the direction of the Director of Client Operations and instruction of facility contacts • Answer day-to-day questions from clients and Release of Information Specialists • Meet facility revenue goals and identify productivity improvement opportunities • Perform release-of-information functions according to service agreements • Prepare weekly dashboards and month-end operational performance reports • Monitor productivity and quality to ensure customer service satisfaction • Assist with training and evaluation of onsite and remote ROIS staff • Assist in selecting, interviewing, hiring and terminating employees • Participate in counseling sessions and make disciplinary or termination recommendations • Manage onsite staff scheduling, time-off requests and payroll approval • Coordinate remote supervisors’ work and distribute workflow to site personnel • Maintain confidentiality and secure facility information • Provide input into site procedure reviews and revisions • Perform quality reviews and site evaluations • Review release-of-information requests and authorizations for validity under applicable state or federal statutes • Look up medical record numbers, complete guides and pull medical records • Review requested encounters and scan or electronically capture medical records • Capture appropriate pages, reassemble paper charts and log released information • Document releases in patient medical records or as determined by the facility • Calculate billing and prepare invoices • Certify medical record copies when appropriate • Ensure supplies are available at designated facilities • Submit travel expense reports and receipts • Comply with company policies and perform other assigned duties

🎯 Anforderungen

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred • RHIT Certification preferred • Valid driver’s license and a history of safe driving • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff members and management • Experience with medical records or healthcare beneficial • Knowledge of HIPAA privacy information standards required • Medical terminology coursework preferred • RHIT certification or ability to take and pass an ROI Certification course with a score of 85% or higher within 90 days required • Ability to travel
