Beschreibung

• Build and extend LLM-backed capabilities on AWS Bedrock and related models • Implement document OCR and extraction for clinical and claims paperwork • Develop summarization and decision-support tools for clinical review • Build Knowledge Bases for retrieval over plan and policy documents • Automate workflows for internal teams • Establish and maintain evaluations for shipped AI features and monitor quality drift • Handle production AI concerns including structured output, failure modes, cost, latency, and deterministic alternatives • Use Claude Code and Kiro as core agentic coding tools and verify their output • Design, build, test, and ship features in the Python and FastAPI backend on MySQL and AWS • Develop within the Jinja2, Tailwind, and Alpine.js front end • Fix broken functionality before adding new features • Work with integrations exchanging eligibility, accumulator, and claim data with carriers and pharmacies • Support NCPDP D.0 and X12 270/271 transactions and related file formats • Establish missing test and lint gates and treat CI as part of the definition of done • Treat PHI handling as a first-class design constraint • Write clear specifications, prompts, and design notes • Work with clinical teams initially, followed by other business areas as the platform stabilizes • Report to the Head of Engineering and work directly with business owners • Participate in HR, technical, leadership, and business interviews, including a practical exercise and on-site visit

🎯 Anforderungen

• 7+ years building production software, with real ownership of systems that other people depend on • Strong Python with production FastAPI or comparable async framework experience • Solid SQL on MySQL or Postgres • Working knowledge of AWS • Comfortable with server-rendered front end using Jinja2, Tailwind, Alpine.js or htmx • Fluent in Linux for development and comfortable working from a Windows workstation over remote desktop into a secure environment • Daily use of AI coding tools on real work • At least one LLM-powered feature shipped to real users, including evaluation experience • Practical knowledge of prompt and context engineering, retrieval, embeddings, and structured output • Working knowledge of healthcare data exchange standards and file-based integrations: NCPDP D.0, X12 270/271, SFTP, fixed-width and delimited formats, and reconciliation • Direct communication style and ability to name tradeoffs plainly and ask when something is unclear • Healthcare or other regulated-data experience, including HIPAA, PHI, or SOC 2, is nice to have • Pharmacy benefits, claims, or clinical program experience is nice to have • Self-hosting open-source models with vLLM, Ollama, or TGI, including GPU sizing, quantization, and private-network serving, is nice to have • Fine-tuning or adapter training on domain data is nice to have • Classical ML for prediction or scoring using scikit-learn or XGBoost, with production model monitoring, is nice to have • Master's degree in computer science or related field is nice to have • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without employer support, visa transfer support, DSO documentation, or sponsorship now or in the future
