Beschreibung

• Manage technical workflows for full episodes and social video • Edit and produce longform video episodes for YouTube across remote, in-studio, and hybrid formats • Create platform-native shortform content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts • Design scalable motion graphics, captions, lower-thirds, and other visual elements • Manage and mentor freelance editors and designers • Write and edit scripts with hosts and show teams • Collaborate with editorial, social, and audience development teams • Advise on visual and social trends and content strategy • Assemble, refine, and package episode videos in Descript • Produce polished audio using Descript and Pro Tools for advanced cleanup • Lead complete video editing workflows, including pacing, structure, and clarity • Handle multi-track/multi-camera assembly, visual layouts, framing continuity, and track synchronization • Record and remotely direct host video intros • Prepare thumbnails, captions, on-screen text, and YouTube-optimized assets • Maintain efficient ingest-to-publish workflows • Oversee publishing and deliver high-performing content tailored to YouTube and social platforms

🎯 Anforderungen

• 6-8+ years of experience in digital video production • Track record of success creating editorial content for podcasts and social platforms • Ability to produce both longform and shortform video content, especially for talk-based or interview-driven formats • Strong editing expertise in Adobe Premiere • Motion design and graphics capabilities in After Effects or similar tools • Experience managing freelancers or vendors • Clear creative direction ensuring timely, high-quality delivery • Excellent editorial instincts and news judgement • Collaborative, consultative working style • Deep understanding of video platform ecosystems, including YouTube, TikTok, and Reels • Understanding of what drives platform performance, user engagement, and show growth
