Beschreibung

• Continually enhance the Ceph-based Cloud Storage System for stability, scalability, functionality, performance, and cost • Participate in design and architecture decisions for Ceph-based Cloud Storage • Develop automation framework improvements for Ceph-based Cloud Storage infrastructure • Optimize metrics collection and alerting systems • Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge base • Monitor Cloud Storage infrastructure for high availability and reliability • Partner with Network and Operations teams on capacity expansion and maintenance windows • Evaluate new technologies, storage features, and operational methodologies • Research and develop cutting-edge features for Ceph-based Cloud Storage • Participate in required meetings and job shadowing • Communicate cross-functionally • Work independently and collaborate with team members and project stakeholders

🎯 Anforderungen

• Problem-solving skills using foundational data structures and distributed systems concepts • Fluent in Linux, including CentOS, RHEL, Debian, and Ubuntu • 3+ years of experience configuring, deploying, and managing distributed systems • Hands-on experience with cloud hosting, object storage, and block storage concepts • Experience with performance tuning in virtualized environments • Knowledge of server hardware, including IPMI and SATA/NVMe storage drives • Strong automation and scripting experience with Python, Bash, PHP, or similar • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or Salt • Experience with Ceph or other software-defined storage is a plus • Experience with Prometheus, collectd, ELK, Grafana, Graylog, Graphite, or similar logging, metrics, and time-series tools is a plus • Effective communication skills • Excellent time management skills • Ability to manage work independently • Strong collaboration skills • Must reside in one of the listed U.S. states • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
