Beschreibung

• Identify, evaluate, and translate latest technologies into strategic opportunities that align with Westinghouse's innovation and growth goals. • Contribute to a holistic technology scouting and innovation strategy aligned with corporate and team goals. • Monitor global technology trends, innovation ecosystems, and competitor activities. • Identify and assess latest technologies, startups, academic research, and industry developments. • Build strategic relationships with external partners, including startups, universities, national labs, and technology accelerators. • Collaborate with strategic roadmaps team, engineering, R&D, digital, and teams to identify customer needs and technology gaps. • Identify and deliver external funding opportunities (government and private) to accelerate technology maturation. • Support business case development, including financial modeling and valuation inputs, and cost-benefit and ROI analysis. • Deliver clear, structured recommendations to leadership through memos, business opportunity assessments, technology watches and investment proposals.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Degree in a nuclear-related field (e.g., nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, physics, or related), with advanced degrees or research background • 5 + years of post-education experience in technology scouting, product development, innovation management, engineering, strategy, or technology commercialization in the energy or adjacent sectors. • Knowledge of latest technologies and applications of nuclear energy.
