Beschreibung

• Shape the Wikimedia Foundation’s product security strategy and strengthen organizational security culture • Determine and drive priorities for engineers focused on security and privacy • Leverage cross-functional support from designers, data scientists, community managers, and others • Drive design and development of technical features and interventions that improve user safety and prevent platform compromise • Communicate strategically and candidly with community members about security work • Establish working relationships with volunteers and represent the Wikimedia community and Foundation on security and privacy issues • Partner with leaders in other departments to shape the Foundation’s information security posture • Stay current on online security and privacy developments, including vulnerability research and development • Report to the Group Product Manager, Safety and Security

🎯 Anforderungen

• At least 7 years of professional experience working in teams that build products, including at least 2 years in a security-focused role • Experience driving significant security initiatives to completion in a senior technical or product management capacity • Significant professional experience using AI-based tools for security analysis, code review, software engineering, and other technical tasks • Comfortable using and learning command-line-based tools • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, staff, and communities • Ability to manage diverse responsibilities in a dynamic, results-oriented environment • Belief that Wikipedia and its community model is beneficial • Ability to be decisive despite complex stakeholder environments • Experience working with online communities, especially public ones • Non-US employees must have current work authorization in their location
