Beschreibung

• Integrate commercial imagery providers into the collection tool, including request protocols, data formats and delivery paths • Gather map-interface user requests, determine underlying needs and implement changes • Investigate data-flow bottlenecks and technical faults in a live production environment and fix them • Work with planners and analysts to turn operational needs into concrete requirements • Keep tool documentation current, including status, known issues, collection metrics and recommendations • Report on tool performance, including availability, job success rates, changes since the previous period and recommended actions • Own and maintain the satellite imagery collection tool, including its data integration, map interface and pipelines • Collaborate with a small technical team through video reviews

🎯 Anforderungen

• A working understanding of space-based intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, and of what current satellite capabilities can and cannot do • Five years or more of multi-mission planning using orbit and sensor modelling • Hands-on experience building and running satellite collection tooling for national or multinational customers • Real proficiency with GIS and web mapping libraries • Experience with the protocols used to integrate several commercial imagery providers into one collection capability • Excellent spoken and written English, demonstrated in recent work • Self-direction to work alone without supervision and ability to work well inside a team • Strong research and analytical habits and a genuine appetite for problem solving • Experience of defence or military intelligence processes is welcome, but not required • Security clearance is referenced in the job title
