Beschreibung

• Collaborate with applied scientists, engineering, design, and research teams to understand, scope, design, prototype, implement, and iterate on AI systems • Lead small working groups building proofs of concept for agentic customer experiences and infrastructure • Establish effective software development practices using AI tools to improve engineering quality and scale • Partner with Senior Product Leadership to align engineering capabilities with business strategy • Set quality standards through code reviews, mentoring, and development of guidelines • Provide technical leadership through complex technical challenges • Educate science leadership on backend systems and connect them to team and AI organization strategy • Support individual and team growth through interviewing, onboarding, and mentorship

🎯 Anforderungen

• 8+ years of experience building and shipping production-grade software or services • Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles • Understanding of the Machine Learning product development cycle • Experience across ETL, backend services, and product front-end • Fluency in Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript • Familiarity with AI coding tools and deploying AI agents • Ability to communicate highly technical ideas with technical leaders across disciplines • Experience setting architecture vision and strategy for an organization • Experience developing highly available services at Internet scale • Ability to collaborate across teams and leaders, influence others, and navigate difficult conversations and decisions • Experience mentoring and guiding engineers and developing technical leaders • Experience with generative AI or large language models and related technologies (nice to have) • Experience collaborating with science, engineering, design, research, and product partners in a startup culture (nice to have)
