Description

• Own significant projects end-to-end, from technical design through implementation and rollout • Set technical direction across the healthcare data platform and member management solution • Work with Ruby on Rails APIs, newer Axum-based services, and Rust data-processing pipelines • Influence the culture and direction of the technical organization • Apply technical judgment to software development practices, including AI-assisted development • Raise engineering standards, processes, and code quality across the team • Mentor engineers and serve as a technical leader • Collaborate with the Product team through product inceptions, architecture reviews, and roadmap prioritization • Build high-quality code through TDD, pair programming, code review, static analysis, and documented best practices • Report to an Engineering Manager

🎯 Exigences

• 10+ years of software engineering experience • Track record of owning substantial projects from design through delivery • Proficiency in both Ruby and Rust • Experience designing, building, and maintaining production APIs • Experience designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines • Strong technical judgment and taste in software development • Ability to use AI-assisted development tools effectively while maintaining high quality standards • Ability to work collaboratively in engineering teams • Strong transparent, positive communication • Commitment to writing high-quality code
