• Drive demand for BMS medicines within the cardiovascular portfolio for appropriate patients • Promote approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory or region while meeting or exceeding sales targets compliantly • Articulate the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients • Build and maintain professional credibility with regional thought leaders, community physicians, HCPs, office staff, medical groups, and other patient-care stakeholders • Deliver differentiated Customer Experiences through deeper scientific dialogue consistent with product labeling • Maintain and grow scientific expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas • Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans • Use tools such as SOPHIA to derive insights and dynamically inform call plans • Provide leadership feedback on tool experience for continuous improvement • Conduct in-office presentations, including lunch-and-learns, and discuss product-related scientific information with HCPs • Organize external speaker programs, select approved speakers, and facilitate scheduling and logistics • Maintain working expertise on emerging data for approved indications • Use Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries • Collaborate with other field teams to ensure strong HCP Customer Experience • Gather and share relevant customer insights internally with appropriate stakeholders • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies • Spend substantial time in the field with external customers
• Advanced scientific degree and/or preferred 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience as healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse • Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to physicians • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong credibility with key customers, office staff, and others in the customer influence network • Experience in cardiovascular preferred • Demonstrated account management skills, superior selling competencies, and proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals • Demonstrated ability to work effectively cross-functionally • Strong selling and promotional skills proven through a track record of performance • Customer/commercial mindset and ability to drive business results • Experience identifying, engaging, and cultivating credibility with customers across the patient care journey • Understanding of the patient journey and patient-focused mindset • Excellent communication and presentation skills for scientific and clinical data • Strong learning mindset and passion for science; ability to stay current with latest data • Ability to analyze prescribing patterns, market trends, HCP preferences, clinical data, and BMS product data • Ability to segment HCPs and customize communication and product presentations • Ability to use CE^3 to generate insights and perform dynamic call planning • Ability to use technology and digital communication channels effectively • Competency using CE^3 and other software or CRM tools to collect, enter, and manage quality data compliantly • Ability to use Medical on Call technology effectively • Strong business acumen to understand market drivers and develop, execute, and adjust business plans • Track record of balancing individual drive and collaborative attitude • High integrity and good judgment to navigate role requirements compliantly • Qualified Driver requirements: at least 21 years of age, a driver’s license in good standing issued by the state of residence, and an acceptable driving risk level
