• Grow and maximize LAPP’s revenue in a designated industry across the Americas region • Develop sales with selected key accounts in the designated industry • Develop and implement a vertical industry plan with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Business Development, and other departments • Own regional vertical-market sales performance, including industry-segment turnover and profitability • Grow sales in selected key accounts • Implement market strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share • Identify, prioritize, and manage pipeline and growth opportunities for LAPP USA • Qualify, develop, and manage revenue opportunities at strategic accounts with the sales organization and Channel team • Participate in cross-functional team meetings and coordinate market approaches • Deliver commercial and strategic market inputs into 5 Year Integrated Roadmaps • Gather market information, including market size, growth, and pricing • Monitor sales performance metrics, market trends, and competitor activities • Analyze competitors and develop sales actions to win their customers • Develop marketing and sales materials for the industry segment • Identify and participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events • Develop industry training and coordinate advanced product training • Build long-term customer relationships and expand networks across technical, commercial, operational, and executive levels • Maintain communication with sales, cross-functional leaders, management, parent company, and subsidiaries • Adjust strategies and tactics based on performance data and market feedback • Travel as required
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university; degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar (preferred) • Minimum of 3 years industry experience and knowledge • Working knowledge of wire, cable, and its applications • Strong proficiency with digital tools and remote selling technology (Teams and equivalent) • Strategic and analytical skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Networking, technical, and selling skills • Proven technical experience and industry background • Strong project management skills • Ability to work in a matrix environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams • Ability to manage changing priorities and meet critical business commitments • Proficient in the English language • Additional languages are a plus • Basic financial knowledge and competence in the business environment • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) • Travel as required • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
