Description

• Own tactical execution of the engineering roadmap and partner with Product and Design to define milestones and deliver high-quality software on time • Participate in technical design reviews and guide teams in building a stable, scalable platform for complex clinical trial data • Drive day-to-day development of predictive models and analytics tools with data and software engineers • Manage sprint capacity, budget tracking, and resource allocation while balancing technical debt and feature delivery • Run and optimize Agile ceremonies and development workflows • Directly manage Engineering Managers and Tech Leads; conduct 1-on-1s, performance reviews, career planning, interviewing, and onboarding • Maintain an inclusive, high-performing team culture and resolve interpersonal or cross-team friction • Serve as the primary technical contact for stakeholders and translate technical blockers, updates, and risks into operational timelines

🎯 Exigences

• BA or BS degree from a college or university • 7+ years of software engineering experience • At least 3+ years successfully managing engineering teams • Proven experience as a manager of managers, directly leading and developing Engineering Managers and Technical Leads • Track record owning execution and on-time delivery of complex, data-heavy software products and platforms • Strong background in scalable architecture, cloud infrastructure, complex data pipelines, or predictive models • Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum, sprint capacity planning, and CI/CD workflows • Ability to participate in and guide technical design reviews • Exceptional communication skills for translating technical blockers and risks to non-technical stakeholders • Experience fostering a high-accountability, collaborative team culture • HealthTech, Biotech, or Clinical Trials/Life Sciences experience highly preferred • Unable to sponsor work visas at this time • Must abide by organizational security and privacy policies
