Description

• Partner with the Function Lead to build and develop the Strategic Insights group • Drive the DEWALT learning agenda and provide input into function priorities • Build advocacy for sustained organizational investment in end-user understanding • Develop a roadmap for foundational professional user insights • Stay current with emerging research and analytic methodologies • Standardize research approaches across the business • Build partnerships with vendors and cross-functional leaders • Lead and develop a team of at least 3 Strategic Insights professionals • Set direction, priorities and long-term insights capability development for the team • Create work plans aligned with function and DEWALT business priorities • Support professional and functional development within the team • Transform data into actionable insights for senior and executive leaders through storytelling and data integration • Acquire reliable global market data and integrate it with custom insights • Identify and assess business opportunities at category, brand, country and global levels • Synthesize user and marketplace data into narratives guiding business strategy • Create immersive end-user experiences for leadership and business teams • Measure in-market success and apply learnings to optimize new product development • Optimize learning and global research opportunities • Align strategic learning plans with senior leaders • Guide research development, execution and deployment using qualitative and quantitative methods • Test innovative research tools and techniques for global scalability • Oversee research and data supplier relationships • Evaluate agency and vendor capabilities for regional and global scale • Select suppliers and share experiences with the consumer insights community

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor’s Degree • MBA a plus • 10+ years of professional experience in Consumer Insights and/or a combination of Brand Development, Marketing Strategy, Marketing, Product/Project Management, or at a research vendor • Experience in managing and developing others • Expertise in a variety of qualitative and quantitative consumer research techniques and data analytics • Excellent communication skills • Travel as needed • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship (H1B, OPT/CPT, TN etc.)
