• Lead, develop, and implement a banking partnerships strategy for the UK and Europe that supports our vision for Airwallex’s global collections and payouts network. • Manage our most strategic partnership opportunities, both existing and new, and act as the main point of contact between Airwallex and our partners. • Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape to ensure that Airwallex maintains its position as a payment leader. • Identify and evaluate opportunities to integrate with local banking partners, acquirers, and payment methods as Airwallex expands to new geographies. • Coordinate due diligence processes with prospective partners and project manage onboarding with new partners. • Develop yourself as an industry thought leader.
• 7+ years of experience working with financial institutions, global and regional banks, and payment networks. • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to build and maintain relationships. • A good understanding of compliance and onboarding with global and regional banks. • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Product, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Commercial teams. • International experience - working in multiple markets or managing cross-border relationships. • A proven track record of working with technology-led businesses in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
