• Responsible for establishing and maintaining a strong sales pipeline to achieve and exceed the company's commercial targets. • Collaborate with internal management to set up and achieve an annual sales target • Manage relationships with owners, managers, and business leads; follow leads through to contract execution. • Contact potential customers and partners, including cold calls, to generate leads • Initiate, follow up, acquire, maintain, and manage the sales network in the relevant markets, including waste management, agriculture and municipalities • Lead on the increase of the operations & maintenance support contracts of existing AD plants • Build-up, maintain and improve a solid pipeline of projects and a strong customer base • Collect market intelligence and return feedback on the interested market sector to internal structures • Coordinate with applications engineering to develop competent technical solutions to meet customer needs • Follow through and negotiate to close the sales contract • Review and refresh marketing efforts, expand in existing markets and collaborate with the Anaergia team to develop new market penetration strategies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Environmental and Life Sciences, or equivalent • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a position of sales engineering in the industry of environmental services, wastewater and waste treatment, waste to energy, or renewable energy area and should have proven track record. • Good technical understanding of wastewater, biogas, anaerobic digestion, renewable energy and/or waste management and recycling processes • Excellent negotiating, networking and interpersonal skills • Knowledgeable about national regulations for the design & operation of waste treatment, biogas and biomethane plants, digestate and biosolids, planning application process, grid connection process and similar • Skills in all MS Office tools and ability to adapt to new digital tools • Excellent in English, written and spoken.
