📋 Description

• Translate Broadcom’s global vKS vision into actionable EMEA programs and achieve adoption, pipeline, and customer-success goals • Represent Broadcom in strategic accounts and influence CIO/CTO-level roadmaps • Position VMware Cloud Foundation with vSphere Kubernetes Service as the enterprise Kubernetes platform of choice • Guide solution design across container-based applications, infrastructure, and DevOps • Collaborate with customers’ platform and infrastructure teams • Partner with regional account executives on technical validation, presales success, professional-services scoping, and delivery handoffs • Capture customer insights to influence vKS and VCF product direction • Build, mentor, and inspire a regional Application Engineering team • Establish scalable best practices, frameworks, and enablement models • Drive vKS adoption and compete against Red Hat OpenShift by engaging customers, ISVs, and SaaS companies • Travel up to 50% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in enterprise application engineering • 5+ years in cloud-native/Kubernetes platforms • Strong background in Kubernetes, DevOps, CI/CD, open-source tools, pipeline automation, and enterprise deployment practices • Proven experience working with platform teams • CNCF certifications • Proven record leading technical teams across a geographic region, directly or matrixed • Strong executive presence and ability to influence enterprise decision makers • Deep experience scaling Kubernetes, containers, or modern application platforms in large, regulated enterprises • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, including microservices, APIs, CI/CD, and event-driven designs • Technical expertise in Kubernetes, VCF, containers, EKS, AKS, GKE, and Red Hat OpenShift • Ability to understand and write YAML scripts • Demonstrated ability to work across sales, business development, and delivery functions • Experience with middleware, databases, API management, or application frameworks such as Spring or React is highly desirable • Knowledge of HA, scalability, compliance, RTO/RPO, networking, storage, backup, and disaster-recovery strategies • Prior experience engaging regional teams to drive co-selling motions • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
