📋 Description

• Explore, analyse, validate, and specify amendments to software features and functions for local-government billing and collection of non-domestic rates • Engage with customers and internal teams to develop and understand challenges and requirements • Work with government and legislative bodies to ensure product compliance • Bridge regulatory interpretation and system implementation for MRI Revenues & Benefits • Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements based on legislative changes and existing functionality • Facilitate workshops with customers and internal stakeholders • Produce High Level Business Requirements, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria • Clarify requirements for developers during development • Support testers with business scenarios and acceptance criteria • Review demonstrations of completed functionality • Assist the Product Owner with backlog refinement and prioritisation • Provide second-line support for requirement-related customer queries • Work within a domain-focused team of Product Managers and Business Analysts

🎯 Requirements

• Exceptionally good knowledge of legislation determining how software needs to work for Non Domestic Rates • At least 2 years’ experience with the MRI Revenues & Benefits application, specifically Non Domestic Rates software • Experience in SQL is ideally preferred but not essential • Ability to analyse and solve problems • Ability to work effectively while meeting demanding deadlines • Flexible attitude towards work • Enthusiastic outlook toward a challenging role • Ability to work on own initiative • Legal right to work in the UK • Successful applicants must undergo BPSS pre-compliance checks, including identity verification, employment history checks, right-to-work verification, and a Basic DBS check
