📋 Description

• Shape how systems, data and services connect across Arden University • Design scalable, resilient and future-ready integration solutions • Act as the link between business stakeholders and the Integration Development Team • Translate complex demand into clear, prioritised and developer-ready specifications • Align requirements with Arden’s integration strategy, middleware roadmap and event-driven architecture • Drive better use of APIs, automation, cloud platforms and reusable integration patterns • Enable Software Engineers to focus on high-quality design, build and support • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and requirements discussions • Produce technical documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and data mappings • Identify risks, dependencies and assumptions • Collaborate with software engineers throughout the delivery lifecycle • Manage and refine technical backlogs • Analyse business processes and identify automation and integration opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management capability • Ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications and requirements • Strong understanding of APIs, middleware, system integrations, message brokers, event-driven architectures and cloud services • Experience producing technical documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, data mappings and functional/non-functional requirements • Experience facilitating workshops, discovery sessions and requirements discussions • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and organisational skills • Ability to constructively challenge requirements and identify risks, dependencies and assumptions • Strong analytical and problem-solving approach • Knowledge of Agile and Kanban delivery methods, including Jira • Experience working within technical delivery teams supporting software, integration, middleware or cloud-based solutions • Experience collaborating with software engineers throughout the delivery lifecycle • Experience managing and refining technical backlogs • Experience analysing business processes and identifying opportunities for automation and integration • Understanding of data transformation and asynchronous messaging • Ability to work in the UK; sponsorship may not be available for some roles
