📋 Description

• Lead vendor negotiations across multiple spend categories, including commercial terms, pricing, discounts, payment terms, ramps, and renewal protections • Run competitive sourcing events such as RFI, RFP, and RFQ; build bid comparisons and recommendations • Prepare negotiations using benchmarks, usage data, and walk-away positions; document outcomes and realized savings • Own the renewal calendar and proactively engage stakeholders to prevent surprise auto-renewals • Guide purchase requests through the full intake-to-pay process, coordinating with Legal, Security, IT, and Finance • Keep requests moving by managing timelines, setting expectations, and escalating blockers • Manage supplier onboarding, including documentation, tax forms, banking verification, and supplier records • Maintain clean, auditable transaction records, approvals, agreements, and negotiation history • Analyze purchasing and spend data to identify consolidation opportunities, duplicate or underused tools, pricing outliers, and category trends • Report on savings, cost avoidance, cycle time, and spend under management • Support annual and quarterly budget planning with category-level spend insight and renewal forecasts • Improve the internal buying experience through clearer guidance, faster turnaround, reduced friction, and better self-service • Advise employees on procurement policy, thresholds, and purchasing questions

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of sourcing, procurement, or strategic purchasing experience, including hands-on vendor negotiation • Exceptional attention to detail • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience • Strong finance fundamentals • Customer-service orientation toward internal stakeholders • Self-driven and comfortable with ambiguity • Ability to adapt and learn quickly in an evolving function and fast-moving industry • Excellent written and verbal communication • Credibility to negotiate with senior vendor counterparts • Experience sourcing in a high-growth technology or SaaS company is given special consideration • Familiarity with P2P platforms, CLM, ERP, and spend visibility tools is given special consideration • Working knowledge of contract terms and third-party risk concepts, including DPAs and GDPR, SOC 2 and security review, insurance requirements, and AI/data-use terms is given special consideration • Experience supporting a global, multi-entity business, including multi-currency purchasing, international suppliers, and regional tax or invoicing requirements is given special consideration
