📋 Description

• Own the AI portfolio end to end, ensuring initiatives are captured, understood, prioritised, governed, and progressed with clear accountability • Manage a complex cross-business portfolio, balancing priorities, capacity constraints, dependencies, risks, and expected value • Drive portfolio governance, including intake, triage, prioritisation, stage gates, decision forums, dependency management, and risk escalation • Support AI-enabled solutions from idea through implementation, ensuring clear ownership, realistic plans, credible benefits, and successful adoption • Provide executive-ready reporting on roadmap, portfolio performance, delivery progress, financial position, benefits, risks, dependencies, and required decisions • Track budgets, forecasts, committed spend, actuals, benefit realisation, and return on investment with Finance and initiative owners • Work with senior and executive stakeholders to shape demand, test business cases, resolve escalations, agree priorities, and maintain trust • Ensure AI initiatives align with regulatory obligations, technology and data strategy, security standards, risk appetite, and responsible AI governance principles • Produce and maintain business cases, delivery plans, benefits measures, reporting packs, decision logs, and value-tracking approaches • Identify delivery issues early and drive changes to scope, sequencing, resourcing, governance, or stakeholder engagement • Maintain visibility of portfolio resourcing and capability needs, including internal capacity, supplier input, and specialist expertise • Communicate progress and future priorities to cross-business stakeholders • Promote collaborative AI delivery practices through standards, lessons learned, templates, and reporting routines • Work with Procurement to hold AI vendors accountable and secure effective commercial agreements

🎯 Requirements

• Experience managing complex cross-business technology programmes, transformation portfolios, or enterprise delivery pipelines • Practical involvement in AI implementation, automation, data, analytics, or emerging technology initiatives • Experience in a legal, professional services, or regulated environment valuable • Ability to build and run portfolio governance, including prioritisation, stage control, risk and dependency management, benefits tracking, and senior-level reporting • Proven ownership in complex delivery environments, including clarifying accountability, following through, escalating, and driving outcomes • Experience working with senior and executive stakeholders, preparing decision papers, presenting portfolio updates, challenging constructively, and managing escalations • Hands-on portfolio financial tracking and reporting experience, including budgets, forecasts, committed spend, actuals, benefit realisation, and ROI analysis • Understanding of technology governance, data protection, information security, responsible AI, operational risk, and compliance • Experience using structured delivery methods, portfolio management tools, reporting dashboards, and project controls • Strong ownership, organisation, governance, stakeholder relationship, communication, financial insight, problem-solving, and ambiguity-management capabilities
