📋 Description

• Provide paralegal support to the Corporate Lending and Real Estate Finance Banking team • Assist with regular financings for a key real estate finance borrower client, primarily led by the Scotland team • Use precedents to draft basic documentation • Manage and organise draft documentation • Coordinate and prepare for transaction closings • Assist with post-completion registrations and other required steps • Produce transaction bibles, company searches, CP checklists, and distribute original documents • Liaise with clients and counterparties in a timely, courteous, and professional manner • Draft emails and correspondence on behalf of fee earners • Undertake legal research • Provide administrative support to fee earners • File and maintain correspondence and documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Qualification in law, minimum 2.1 (Degree, Graduate Diploma in Law) • LPC or equivalent preferred but not essential • Previous banking paralegal experience • Demonstrable interest in Corporate Lending and Real Estate Finance • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook • Ability to work well in urgent situations and to very tight deadlines • Ability to organise, prioritise, and manage several tasks simultaneously • Accurate working with precise attention to detail • Motivation and initiative • Good written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills • Confidence dealing effectively with Partners and professionals across the firm • Sociable and collaborative approach
