📋 Description

• Undertake volume employment litigation, predominantly unfair dismissal and discrimination claims • Work as part of a team to deliver a first-class client service • Take ownership of key client requirements and transactions • Handle core and high-profile aspects of client matters • Work collaboratively while operating with a degree of independence • Support junior team members and demonstrate best practice in litigation handling • Work alongside the UK Employment team and clients’ in-house legal functions • Maintain and develop client relationships • Use newly established working methods and technological solutions • Develop personally and professionally while delivering high-quality focused services

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified solicitor • Good academic record, including a degree or equivalent • Experience working on general employment matters • Solid grounding in collective and individual redundancy processes, unfair dismissal, and all aspects of discrimination • Experience in employment tribunals ideally • Experience with volume litigation is a valuable asset • Ability to handle a high volume of matters to tight deadlines • Technology awareness • Expert drafting skills • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Experience supervising junior lawyers, paralegals, trainees, or apprentices is desirable • Client-service commitment • Problem-solving, policy-making, and business-awareness skills • Initiative and influencing ability • Leadership and sociability • Organised, methodical, accurate, and able to prioritise and balance responsibilities
