📋 Description

• Build trusted, long-term relationships with farming clients • Visit farms to understand business performance, technical challenges and improvement opportunities • Carry out technical and financial analysis to identify strengths, risks and areas for improvement • Use Promar and wider industry benchmarking data to provide clear, objective insight • Deliver practical recommendations supporting profitability, efficiency, sustainability and resilience • Support clients with nutrition, fertility, forage and soil management, livestock housing, farm infrastructure, environmental compliance, organic production and diversification • Help farmers review business performance, plan for the future and make informed decisions • Grow and develop an individual client base over time • Collaborate with colleagues across Promar and the wider business • Participate in team meetings, company events, agricultural shows, conferences and industry networking opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills • Ability to understand client needs and influence key decision makers • Genuine interest in farm business performance, technical improvement and long-term sustainability • Good organisational skills and ability to manage own workload in a field-based role • Confidence using data, insight and practical knowledge to support decision making • Proactive approach to developing client relationships and identifying new opportunities • Good digital skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office and other business systems • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to farms, client meetings and industry events • Experience in agriculture, farm consultancy, technical sales, nutrition, farm business management or another client-facing agricultural role would be valuable • Agricultural, agriscience or business-related qualification would be beneficial; relevant knowledge, credibility and strong interest may be demonstrated through different backgrounds
