📋 Description

• Support the Director of Compliance in delivering Everway’s global privacy assurance and compliance programme • Support and lead compliance roadmap workstreams and business improvement initiatives, including data mapping, risk management, controls testing and policy development • Lead and coordinate Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), track risk treatments and embed Privacy-by-Design • Manage Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) and Data Deletion Request frameworks • Identify privacy risks and controls, translate them into practical business processes, and support incident management • Address privacy-focused vendor security inquiries and collaborate with Legal • Maintain Knowledge Base and Trust Centre compliance resources • Conduct internal Vendor Security Reviews and mitigate third-party privacy risks • Develop and maintain privacy policies, privacy notices, procedures and governance reporting with KPIs • Lead privacy assurance activities for audit and certification initiatives, including ISO 27701, ISO 27001, ISAE 3000 and SOC 2, and manage evidence in GRC tools • Monitor regulatory developments, assist with regulator and auditor interactions, and liaise with legal counsel on cross-jurisdictional privacy matters

🎯 Requirements

• Degree level (or equivalent) qualification in a related discipline, such as Law, Data Protection, Information Security, Compliance or Risk • 2+ years of experience in a similar data privacy compliance or privacy assurance role • Sound working knowledge of EU GDPR, including risk and compliance management • Ability to work independently and manage and prioritise workstreams in a dynamic environment • Practical experience supporting DPIAs, DSAR/data deletion requests, ROPAs, incident response, and vendor privacy reviews • Experience translating regulatory requirements into practical business processes and controls • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management and communication skills • Detail-oriented with analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Experience in SaaS, Edtech or software development environments (desirable) • Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISAE 3000, ISO 42001 or SOC 2 frameworks (desirable) • Familiarity with GRC platforms such as Vanta and OneTrust (desirable) • Relevant privacy or audit qualifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM or ISO internal auditor training (desirable) • Proficiency with Google Workspace (desirable)
