📋 Description

• Code, test, debug, implement, and document programs • Assist in modifying company products and customer/internal systems to meet client and end-user needs • Gather system information, analyze program and time requirements, and prepare documentation for program changes • Research and analyze existing systems and program requirements under periodic supervision • Design programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs • Write specifications for low- to moderate-complexity programs • Assist in resolving production support problems and suggest alternative approaches • Develop test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs and identify issues • Create program code and technical documentation • Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews • Research industry technical trends and new developments to maintain current skills and industry standards • Participate in production support activities during a 24/7 on-call rotation

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of Applications Development and Batch Programming experience using Unix, Linux, C and SQL (Oracle or other database) • Experience with Claims, Pharmacy point of sale, EDI and/or NCPDP is highly desired • Experience with the full software development life cycle • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for the design, creation, and testing of programs • Ability to work effectively as an independent contributor and as a leader on a team • 24/7 availability during on-call rotation for production support • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required • Video cameras must be used during all interviews and during the initial week of orientation
