📋 Description

• Lead the Dedicated Platform Integration team responsible for integrating third-party and modular features in the GitLab ecosystem for Dedicated platform hosted SaaS • Enable effective execution with Quality and Speed in partnership with the team’s Product Manager • Ensure 3+ 9s availability of Dedicated infrastructure, security, automation, scalability, and tenant capacity • Provide direction and feedback, foster DevOps ownership, and automate meaningless toil • Continuously improve owned artifacts toward self-service production ownership for feature implementers • Recruit, onboard, and develop excellent and productive team members • Demonstrate proof of concepts, an agentic mindset, process simplification, and removal of human toil • Role-model incident management best practices, lead fast resolutions and escalations, and train and codify best practices across GitLab • Use data-driven prioritization, impact quantification, risk and technical-debt management, and AI to demonstrate concepts and support stakeholder decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record building and owning large-scale distributed services, with technical depth in architecture and technical strategy • Experience driving operational excellence and owning services running at four-nines (99.99%) SLOs • Experience leveraging AI tooling to boost team productivity, including lessons learned from successes and missteps • History of building and managing high-performing, accountable team cultures, including managing out when necessary • Comfort driving complex projects to completion without a dedicated TPM • Experience leading distributed and remote teams effectively
