📋 Description

• Develop detailed project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resources • Deliver all project lifecycle phases, including scoping, design, construction, and commissioning • Perform risk analysis, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve project-related issues • Monitor contractors for compliance with scope, specifications, and safety requirements • Carry out nationwide site visits, including some engineering/night working hours, to verify build standards • Oversee project expenditures within approved budgets • Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to optimize costs, negotiate contracts, and monitor contractor performance • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, operations, finance, and other departments • Act as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders • Oversee contractor relationships and project standards • Ensure CAPEX projects comply with regulatory, safety, environmental, and company standards • Implement quality control and assurance procedures • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify process improvements • Maintain project documentation and progress reports • Provide senior management with updates on project status, risks, and performance metrics • Prepare project closeout documentation and transition completed projects into sales and Operations

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in project management or CAPEX project delivery • Experience in construction, engineering, or digital industries preferred • Experience delivering construction installation and commissioning projects, ideally in roadside, highway, rail, or airport environments • Experience managing contractors and suppliers • Experience working within NEC3/4 or similar contract management environments • Adherence to CDM Regulations 2015 • Evidence of safety-first site management and auditing • Practical knowledge of project management practices • Practitioner-level certification/qualification such as PRINCE2 or equivalent preferred • Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint • Experience supporting project cost controls and budgeting • Strong analytical skills for risk management, scheduling, and problem-solving • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
