📋 Description

• Lead and give technical direction to fellow engineers • Author extensive architecture and design documents using distributed system design, algorithms, logging frameworks, scaling, and microservices principles • Write high-quality, testable Java code within a backend-focused full-cycle engineering framework • Design, build, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications in public cloud infrastructures • Optimize core backend infrastructure for the payments industry • Administer and integrate applications with enterprise database technologies • Support backend data migration initiatives • Oversee and manage codebase integration using merge methodologies across Git, GitLab, BitBucket, and similar platforms • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across domains

🎯 Requirements

• Expert-level Java programming experience • Hands-on development of testable code • Clear understanding of the SDLC • Ability to write efficient unit test cases and automation test scripts • Microservices experience with a strong backend focus • Experience with large-scale, complex backend applications • Experience in the payments industry or building payment applications • Distributed systems and scalable application development experience • Experience with cloud-native applications, algorithms, logging frameworks, scaling, and UML principles • Expertise in SOAP/REST communication and test harnesses • Experience with merge methodologies using Git, GitLab, and BitBucket • Familiarity or experience with Cypress.io, TestRail, Selenium, and Jenkins in backend or full-cycle engineering • AI experience (nice to have) • Risk and compliance experience (nice to have) • Database management and data migration experience with Oracle, RDS, and DynamoDB (nice to have) • Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (nice to have) • Ability to complete at least one live, shared-screen coding assessment
