📋 Description

• Independently manage and execute in-person events across EMEA and eventually APJ • Manage owned regional user conferences and third-party sponsorships • Lead end-to-end event logistics, including venue sourcing, negotiation, contracting, vendor coordination, booth design and setup, and on-site execution • Maintain event timelines, budgets, contracts, and vendor communications • Ensure stakeholder alignment and visibility • Define and track event success metrics • Deliver post-event analysis and translate insights into performance and ROI improvements • Create, review, and approve event assets, signage, collateral, presentations, and registration experiences • Build and leverage AI and automation tools to improve planning, execution, and reporting • Identify risks and resolve issues through real-time problem-solving and on-site decision-making • Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and regional teams • Guide junior team members, contractors, and agency partners while remaining hands-on

🎯 Requirements

• Located in the UK, Netherlands, Sweden, or Germany • 4+ years of direct event management experience • Experience personally owning hosted conferences end to end and independently running third-party conference sponsorships • Experience with venue sourcing, negotiating, and contracting • Budget ownership and reconciliation experience • Vendor management experience • Registration build experience • Experience leading on-site event delivery and making real-time decisions independently • Willingness to travel by plane approximately 40 percent, including long-haul travel to APJ and occasional work across APJ/AMER time zones • Curiosity and adaptability in adopting marketing technologies, including AI-driven tools such as Claude Code • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Ability to manage multiple concurrent events with competing deadlines and shifting priorities • Track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder events • Strong organizational and time management skills • Problem-solving and sound decision-making skills • Proficiency in Zuddl or similar registration platforms • Familiarity with Salesforce and Monday.com preferred
